claire von enck
Claire Von Enck is a member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she began her dance training at age seven at the Royal School of Ballet with Joanne Morscher before continuing at the Cleveland School of Dance with Gladisa Guadalupe. She attended the School of American Ballet’s 2009 summer course and was invited to enroll as a full-time student that fall.
In August 2012, Ms. Von Enck became an apprentice with NYCB and joined the company as a member of the corps de ballet in August 2013.
Her repertoire highlights include featured roles in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Raymonda Variations, Tarantella, and Harlequinade, as well as Alexei Ratmansky’s Namouna.
Pointeworks’ NYC tour will mark a special milestone in her career, as she shares the stage with her sisters, Nicole and Emma Von Enck—dancers with Texas Ballet Theater and New York City Ballet—for the first time in a professional production.
