Support Pointeworks: Help Us Bring Cutting-Edge Ballet to Southern California

Pointeworks is thrilled to announce our return for a second season of vibrant ballet performances in San Diego. After the incredible reception of our NYC Tour and the success of our sold-out inaugural performance on June 20th, 2024, we are more inspired than ever to bring innovative ballet to new audiences.

Our Ballet Nights, set for June 2025, will feature two world premieres and groundbreaking choreographic styles. We remain committed to showcasing international artists and female choreographers while fostering diverse perspectives in dance.

To bring this ambitious project to life, we need your support. Producing high-quality performances requires significant resources—including artist compensation, theater and rehearsal space rentals, and production costs. Our goal for this season is a budget of $150,000, with $35,000 dependent on donations.

Join us in making this season unforgettable — every contribution makes a difference!

Here’s how you can contribute:

  • $25 – 1 pair of Flat Shoes (need 10 pairs)

  • $35 – 1 hour rental of a Rehearsal Studio (we rehearse 40 hours a week for 8 weeks)

  • $100 – 1 pair of Pointe Shoes (dancers use 1-2 pairs per week)

  • $350 – Steinway Piano Rental (covers one performance)

  • $500 – Provides the Marley floor for the theater (essential for performing on pointe)

  • $1,000 – Costumes a ballet (design and costume costs for each of our 3 new works)

  • $2,000 – Sponsor a Dancer (supports one talented artist)

  • $3,500 – Choreographer Fund (supports the creation of a new work by a choreographer)

  • $10,000 – Theater Rental (covers 1 day at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center)
