Henry Winn
Henry Winn began dancing at age seven in Salt Lake City, Utah, training with Ballet West Academy under the direction of Peter Christie, Jan Fugit, and Jeff Rogers. During his time there, he performed in numerous company productions, including Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and The Rite of Spring, and was invited to perform The Nutcracker with Ballet West at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
He attended summer intensives at The School of American Ballet in New York City, Houston Ballet, and Boston Ballet. From 2017 to 2019, he trained under Peter Stark at Boston Ballet, performing with both Boston Ballet and Boston Ballet II. Winn joined Texas Ballet Theater in 2019 and is currently a member of the corps de ballet. Career highlights include the Peasant Pas de Deux in Tim O’Keefe’s Giselle, and numerous works by Ben Stevenson, whose repertoire has shaped much of his early professional career.
In June 2025, Winn will make his debut with Pointeworks during the company’s summer California season, performing in It’s Deep, It’s Dark by DaYoung Jung and a new creation by Reka Gyulai.
