Luis Fernando Rego, a Rio de Janeiro native, trained at Projeto Vidançar, the Maria Olenewa School, and the School of the Bolshoi Theater in Brazil. He has danced with Tivoli Ballet Theatre in Copenhagen and is currently in his second season with Dance Theatre of Harlem.

His repertoire spans classics such as Napoli by Bournonville, Nutcracker, Raymonda, Scheherazade, Don Quixote, Talisman, Le Corsaire, Swan Lake, Valse Moskovsky, Spring Water, and Diana and Acteon.

In March 2025, Luis will join PointeWorks for its Season 2 NYC tour, performing in a new original creation by choreographer Gabriel Speiller.
