Since then, Sloan has performed principal roles including Prince Siegfried in Stevenson’s Swan Lake, Prince Florimund in Stevenson’s The Sleeping Beauty, and the improv solo in Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16. In 2018, Texas Ballet Theater sent Sloan to the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi, where he won a bronze medalunder the coaching of Li Anlin, Tim O’Keefe, Anna Donovan, and Ben Stevenson.
In March 2025, Sloan will join Pointeworks for its Season 2 NYC Tour, performing original works by DaYoung Jung and Rieko Hatato. His participation in this tour highlights his versatility as an artist and dedication to both classical and contemporary ballet.
