INSIGHTS: Open Rehearsal of Gabriel Speiller’s New Work
Join us for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes sneak peek at Pointeworks’ New York City debut. Taking place on March 17 at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, this open rehearsal leads up to our debut performances at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater on March 21-22, 2025. Experience the artistry of four celebrated dancers from Dance Theatre of Harlem—Ingrid Silva, Lindsey Donnell, Luis Prachar Rego, and Elias Re—as they bring choreographer Gabriel Speiller’s new work to life.
Event Schedule:
Introduction (10 minutes): An introduction to Pointeworks, including an opportunity to meet the dancers and the choreographer, and learn about the inspiration behind the new work.
Rehearsal Viewing (35 minutes): Watch excerpts from the piece and enjoy a rare glimpse into the rehearsal process.
Q&A Panel (15 minutes): Conclude with a lively panel discussion, where the artists will share insights and answer audience questions.
