INSIGHTS: Open Rehearsal for DaYoung Jung’s New Work
Don’t miss this exclusive, behind-the-scenes open rehearsal of DaYoung Jung’s latest creation with Pointeworks! Taking place on March 19th from 3:30-4:30 PM at the Alvin Ailey Studios, this special event offers a unique chance to watch the creative process unfold before the work’s debut. Featuring Pointeworks dancers Sophie Williams, Paige Nyman, Hannah Wood, Rayleigh Vendt, Rieko Hatato, Valentin Batista, and Kyle Torres-Hiyoshi, this open rehearsal allows audiences a rare look at Jung’s artistry in action.
Event Schedule:
Introduction (10 minutes): A brief introduction to Pointeworks, DaYoung Jung’s creative vision, and a chance to meet the dancers.
Rehearsal Viewing (35 minutes): Watch excerpts from Jung’s new work as the dancers refine and shape the performance in real time.
Q&A Panel (15 minutes): Wrap up with an interactive panel where the dancers and choreographer will share insights and answer audience questions.
